When you use Taskflow, we collect the following types of information:

• Personal Information: We collect your email address solely for authentication purposes using secure magic links and OTPs (One-Time Passwords).
• App Data: We collect the task data, categories, priorities, and deadlines that you voluntarily input into the application to provide you with the core functionality of the app.
• Usage Data: We collect anonymous data regarding your interactions with the app, such as crash reports and diagnostic data, to improve the app's stability and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect or receive for the following purposes:

• To facilitate account creation and authentication.
• To manage your tasks, synchronize them across your devices, and securely store them.
• To calculate productivity statistics (like streaks) and deliver local notifications and reminders.
• To respond to user inquiries and offer support.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your task data and authentication state are synced and securely stored using Supabase, a secure database provider. We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, please also remember that we cannot guarantee that the internet itself is 100% secure.

4. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. We only share information with third-party service providers (such as Supabase) strictly to perform the services outlined in this policy, and they are contractually obligated to keep your data secure and confidential.

5. Your Privacy Rights

Depending on your location, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal data we have collected about you.
• Request that we correct or update any inaccurate data.
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently. You can do this directly within the Taskflow app by navigating to Profile > Settings > Delete Account.

6. Children's Privacy

We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 13 years of age. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to such minor dependent’s use of the App.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this privacy policy frequently to be informed of how we are protecting your information.
